Drive-through the La Soufriere volcano, it’s been about 400,000 years since volcanic activity occurred here. The pit formation from a collapsed dome of molten lava presents a fascinating picture of what the earth must have been looked like back then. As you come near the side of the crater, sulphuris smell of rotten eggs gets into your nose.

Immersed into the breathtaking views of Gros Piton. Ideal place for outdoorsy travelers and for hikers, you need to be hale and hardy for climbing till 2,619-foot, but its scenery and feeling of accomplishment are worth it. St. Lucia’s 19,000 acres of dense rainforest makes up the lush interior. Paradise to the nature lovers, the rain forest includes the rare Jacquot parrot, wide variety of exotic plants, flowers and birds.

Hiking through the giant ferns and orchids to stunning waterfalls is an ultimate adventurous experience. Try out the Rain Forest Sky Rides to enjoy the breathtaking 75-minute ride in an open-sided aerial tram to view the natural resource from 90 feet above the ground. Experience your Jungle Biking through the paths cut into the plantation forests of Anse Chastenet or engage into windsurfing, diving and snorkeling.
